About the Role

The Billing Representative plays a critical role within Clipboard’s Collections team, ensuring that workplace customers pay invoices accurately and on time. Cash flow is essential to the business, and this role directly supports the company’s financial health.

You’ll communicate with workplace administrators via email and phone, identify the root causes of non-payment, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Billing Disputes, and Customer Support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances
  • Review historical data related to invoices and payments
  • Contact accounts payable teams and administrators via phone and email
  • Identify and resolve billing concerns and disputes
  • Track collections updates and accounts receivable status
  • Maintain accurate call logs and payment records
  • Build relationships with workplace customers and set clear billing expectations
  • Develop SMART action plans for delinquent accounts
  • Escalate critical accounts to management when necessary
  • Aim to maintain a 95% quarterly collection rate
